Nouvel Designs is inspired by my new baby girl and my love for interior design, DIY items and all things crafty. Nouvel, the French word for new and my daughters middle name, inspires me to create and repurpose items from old materials (a new ones). Posts will catalog my DIY projects, styling and organizational advice and love for life!
I'm a 25 year old wife and new mom. I am married to a wonderful man who also shares my name, Aaron. We had a beautiful baby girl, Selah Nouvel, in May of 2012. Being just the two of us for several years and now welcoming a new addition has brought joy and some realigning and adjusting to our lives. We live in a small town with big dreams and I find myself following in that path. Big dreams for our future and for a business :)
Although, this is one part of my life I am involved in many different things. I am a full-time office manager for my father's engineering and safety company. On top of that I'm a worship pastor for my church and am involved with event planning and organization.
I have the "grasshopper" condition, as my mom calls it, that keeps me bouncing from one thing to another. I enjoy so many different things, but in all forms they are creative!
Here are some interesting facts about me!
- I homeschooled myself and graduated a year early
- I was married at age 19
- I color code my closet and organe it in length of shirt
- I am obsessed with office supplies (mostly post-it notes)
